While this looks great, I returned mine because of the poor quality – unfortunately at my own expense. There was silver paint around the hole that was rough and unsightly. At first I thought it was a used sink with leftover plumbers putty. Looking again, I could see the silver glint of the rough material. According to Kraus, this is normal. I think that it is defective, could leak, should be clean like the other sink I ordered (from another manufacturer Decolav). Also, the paint did not completely cover the outside. There was an oval area of about 3/8″ extending out from near the bottom hole that was bare down to the silver. According to Kraus this would be covered by the mounting ring and therefore is not a defect. Also, the outside paint was not smooth as it shows in the photos. It looks as if numerous dirt particles from the air were sticking up from the surface, covered up by the outside blue paint. Even being careful during cleaning, the paint could come off those raised grit-like particles. FYI I sent photos. I chose this sink because of the lifetime guarantee and reputation of Kraus — but that evidently doesn’t exist. Minimally Kraus had poor quality control. These defects were pretty obvious. Return shipping is costly, so buy at your own risk.

Overall Im happy with this but there’s a few things Im not so happy with. The colour is very different to the picture. It’s actually more an aqua than a blue as shown and there are some flaws in the colouring that are very noticeable and looks like black marks on the sink.
