I tried to install with Sheetrock wall anchors. And that won’t hold. Heavy item. Beautiful shelf, just can only install if wall has backing built in or studs to drill into. And the screw hold are not stud width apart.

I bought this product for 3 bathroom remodels. Have installed the towel bar with shelf as well as the single towel bar and the toilet paper holder. The way the product is designed it falls off of brackets that are supposed to hold it against the wall. The towel bar with shelf is particularly problematic as it will not stay level. Looks like I’m going to have to replace with a different product. I like the look but it just does not work as needed.
