Will leak without tape on threads as others have mentioned. Instructions do not indicate and you must buy tape separately

It’s holding the water in the edge where is calcium buildup. I have to clean it up every day to have clean and shiny.
I’m surprised of this one, because I know this brand by my kitchen faucet which is very good quality.

Quite a hardy drain. I like the fact that the whole piece is metal. The topper is bigger than most, but our sink is larger as well, so it looks great. One note, I did use some waterproof silicone caulk in addition to the provided rubber gasket to ensure no chance of leaking.
I’ve had this product installed for a month or so now, and no leaks, not has the topper tarnished in any way. You naturallydo get some water spots that just wipe away if you want it to look spotless for guests.
