   I like this sink. It’s a decent gauge, I like the off-set drain and the way the faucet mounts with a single hole into thick gauge stainless. What I do not like about this sink is the way that it installs when installing over-mount. Because of the clip system underneath the sink, setting up your template and cutting out the hole for the sink is a critical endeavor.

   The actual room for the lip of the sink to rest on the countertop is about 1/8″ most of the way around. That is tight in the world of rough carpentry. It leaves very little room for error and virtually no room for adjustment once your hole is cut. The cutout needed for the sink is also very large for your average 2 ft countertop. Once you take the top portion of the sink where the faucet mounts into account, on a normal 24 inch deep countertop, it’s gonna be tight! They could make this easier by doing away with the sink clip system on a hypothetical over-mount model as they are not really needed for an over-mount sink.

   I’m not sure if I’ll buy this one again, although I do like the design and quality.

   I bought this sink to use as a utility sink in my wood shop. OVERKILL way way to nice for a utility sink. The sink made me think of Jewerly. All mounting hardware was included (both top Mount and under mount). The ad on krausoutlet.com mentioned a towel which wasn’t included. Lack of towel was like not including a gift bag when you buy a worm drive circular saw (who cares). Packing was OUTSTANDING! The box could be dropped of a truck without any damage. The sink comes in a cloth bag inside the box, with loads of ridged foam packing. The sink works as expected. Water comes in and water drains out.

   I would use this sink in a fancy kitchen to upgrade that kitchen.

   This is a beautiful sink… a quality product! Originally we were expanding the room but there were too many obstacles so we had to change the remodel plan. Unfortunately we could not make the sink size work for the redefined space. I’ve had Kraus products before and they have been very high quality and always beautiful. Can’t speak for the installation or ease of cleaning of this one because we never got that far.

   This sink is nice and deep, has channels so the water drains nicely, and it looks wonderful in our newly upgraded kitchen! It seems to spot easily, but if I keep it mopped up after using that won’t be an issue, plus water spots won’t harm it. It’s so shiny I wonder if it will scratch easily…I hope not, but we’ll be careful. There’s a rack in the bottom that should help with that.

   16-guage T304 stainless steel sink is the way to go.
   It can be mounted over or under the counter top although the included cut-out template is for the undermount application only. The over the countertop mount cut-out template would be nice to include since most application will be this way. The included mounting hardwares are for either application (over or undermount). Overall, it’s a solid kitchen sink that will last many years.
