   It does the job of being a glass sink. I bought the sink to replace a glass sink that cracked from extremly hot water running for a few minutes. I prefer to abandon the whole glass sink design, but once the faucet is in the tiled wall- options are limited. Back to the sink- it is thick glass. But it’s ugly. The glass is poured on a print of some sort. Instead of a layered spun glass design. It looks cheesy and fairly cheap. But Its better than a cracked glass sink. I know other reviews rave about its ‘beauty’. And I am perplexed by these comments.

   I have purchased 2 of the Kraus glass sinks from krausoutlet.com.com and I must say I am very pleased with the quality and unique design of both.
   Installation of these vessel style sinks is a breeze compared to the old style self rimming or undermount sinks that I have used in the past.
   You simply drill one hole in your countertop for the sink/drain and one hole for a(single hole)faucet and you are basically done, The nut on the pop-up drain holds the sink in place and there is no need for the messy caulking or plumbers putty, There are gaskets between the sink, metal ring,counter and faucet that will seal the water out.
   Please note: Many of these sinks come without the metal mounting ring, gaskets and pop-up drain so these items may need to be purchased in addition to the vessel sink.

   We thought the vessel was red/sliver while in fact it is red/gold. Wife did not like it and returned to krausoutlet.com. Return was very easy and credit was issued to card quickly.

   We were hoping this would be a bowl to draw together teak wood on our spa tub and rainbow teak sandstone flooring. It does exactly what we hoped! The quieter beige tone goes with some of the more subdued tones of the flooring, and the copper veins running through it go beautifully with the teak on the tub surround as well as with our rustic bronze faucets.

   The exterior is somewhat rough from the glazing. The inside of the bowl is extremely smooth, and I think it will be very easy to clean, which is a definite bonus.

   The bowl color is clearly indicated as “copper” and the picture really is quite true to the reality. The glass seems to be a good 1/2″ thick, and it is quite heavy and solid-feeling. It came EXTREMELY well packed, too, which made us very happy. I am sure we are going to enjoy it when we get it installed.
